Mauricio Chinchilla, MD

International Neurologist Consultant

Mauricio Chinchilla, MD Neurologist was born in Alajuela Costa Rica on March 16, 1977. He completed his primary and secondary studies in Costa Rica.

He obtained the title of Assistant in Medical Emergencies and Heavy Vehicular Rescue in 1997, becoming a member of the Costa Rican Red Cross. In 1999 he obtained a scholarship from the International Red Cross to study medicine.

He graduated with honors in 2005 as a General Physician (MD) from the Latin American School of Medicine. He joined the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Costa Rica in 2008. He completed postgraduate studies in the Family Medicine Specialty in 2009 at the Latin American School of Medicine, graduating with Honors. In 2013 he obtained the certificate of Specialist in Neurology with Honors. He received training on brain monitoring and disorders of consciousness at the University of Salzburg, Austria.

He has attended multiple International Scientific Conferences, as a speaker and showing the results of his research. He holds multiple awards for his investigative work and has made more than 90 Publications in High Impact International Magazines.

Dr. Chinchilla has more than 18 years of experience in the care of patients with neurological diseases including Autism and ADHD which has allow him to practice in Mexico, Spain, Saudi Arabia and Costa Rica.

Yanin Machado Ferrer, M.D

International Neurologist Consultant

Dr. Yanin Machado is a medical doctor, neurologist, and researcher. She received her medical degree from the University School of Medicine in Havana Cuba, in 2008. She was appointed to the medical internship at the Hospital Manuel Fajardo, graduating with honors. 
 
Dr. Machado Ferrer earned a postgraduate degree in Neurology at Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in 2017. She has more than 90 publications in High Impact Journals.
 
Dr. Machado has more than 15 years of experience in the care of patients with neurological diseases including Autism and ADHD .

Liudmila Guas, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Liudmila Guas, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C was born in La Habana, Cuba and graduated from School of Medical Destristy in 2004 where she obtained a degree as a Doctor in Dental Medicine. She relocated to Miami, Florida in 2005 where she started a new career pathway.

Liudmila graduated from Miami Dade College with a Bachelor in Science of Nursing and started to work as a Nurse in 2012. At the same time, she went back to school earning a master’s degree in nursing with a specialization in family practice. She holds a Certification Board from the Academy of Nurse Practitioner.

Liudmila is a member of the Medical Academy of Pediatric & Special Needs (MAPS) . She holds a certificate in immunology, metabolism, environmental medicine and GI and Nutrition. She completed a Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) Brain Mapping Certification Course in 2023.

She is a wife, mother of a special needs child, and a business owner. As a mother and healthcare practitioner, Liudmila Guas’s passion for helping his son and other childrens connected her with International Researcher Neurologist that has resulted in developing an effective evidence based neuro-rehabilitation program.

Danielvys Limes, MSN, ARNP, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Danielvys Limes is a distinguished healthcare professional with a wealth of experience and qualifications. Holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing, she has further advanced her expertise as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). Danielvys is a member of the esteemed Medical Academy of Pediatric and Special Needs (MAPS), showcasing her dedication to specialized care.

Her commitment to excellence extends to a range of areas, including certificates in immunology and metabolism, environmental medicine, and GI and nutrition. She is also certified in neurofeedback, making her exceptionally versatile. With over a decade of experience in the medical domain, Danielvys has demonstrated her proficiency in working with a wide range of patient populations. She is a dedicated professional with a goal of helping children with special needs and is a devoted mother of two boys.

Her unwavering dedication to patient care and deep sense of empathy make her an invaluable asset to the healthcare community.

Juan Carlos Malvarez, RN 

Registered Nurse 

Juan Carlos Malvarez Nunez was born in Cuba and immigrated to USA in 2005. In his early years living in Miami, he became a Board-Certified Massage Therapist. Under this role, he has the opportunity to work with Chiropractor Doctors, physical therapists, and occupational therapists rehabilitating patients with a range of neurological disorders.

As he continued building his career within the healthcare field, he became a Registered Nurse acquiring even more experience of the functionality of the human body.

In 2018, his son was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD. Then the focus of his life changes to find and learn ways on how to help his kid. He is currently registered in the Functional Developmental Behavioral and Neuroimmunology course to become a Functional Neurologist. His main goal and purpose in life is to help his son and kids with special needs in his community to achieve their maximum independence and neurological potential.

Lazaro Rabi 

Nurse

Lazaro Rabi is a dedicated healthcare professional with a unique and diverse background. Originally trained in general medicine in Cuba, he embarked on a journey of professional growth when he immigrated to the United States. Here, he successfully transitioned his skills and knowledge to become a nurse.

Lazaro’s career in the medical field has been characterized by his steadfast commitment to patient care, marked by his ability to work effectively with a wide spectrum of patients. His international perspective and adaptability have undoubtedly enriched the healthcare landscape. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Lazaro is a devoted father of two sons and exhibits remarkable empathy in his interactions with children and their parents, further enhancing his ability to provide compassionate care.

Damaris Cruz, MS, RDN, CSR, LDN 

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Damaris Cruz, MS, RDN, CSR, LDN is a highly experienced and dedicated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with an impressive decade-long background in dietetics. Graduating from Florida International University, she obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s
degrees in Nutrition and Dietetics and earned a Certificate in Pediatric Nutrition.

She’s deepening her knowledge further by pursuing a Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition at the University of North Florida, showcasing her commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning in the ever-evolving field of nutrition. Beyond academics, her contributions to “Today’s Dietitian” highlight her commitment to advancing the knowledge and skills of her peers. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Damaris effectively
caters to a diverse clientele.

Outside her career, Damaris cherishes moments with her nieces and nephews, explores new culinary experiences by trying new foods, and indulges her passion for travel. Her empathetic approach to patient care and her ability to translate complex nutritional science into practical guidance, make her an invaluable asset to both her patients and
the healthcare community as a whole.

Juan Carlos Malvarez 

Neuro Rehab Specialist Nurse

Juan Carlos Malvarez, was born on June 4, 1967, in Havana, Cuba. He is an outstanding professional in the healthcare field, with an impressive career in nursing and medicine.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in General Nursing in 1990, laying the foundation for his commitment to caring for others.

His thirst for knowledge led him to the University of Havana, where he broadened his horizons by studying Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

His focus on child wellness led him to specialize in treatment for children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Behavioral Disorders and Hyperactivity. His tireless dedication to these patients has made him an expert in the field, providing hope and support to families seeking solutions for their loved ones.

In his constant search for better treatment approaches, he obtained a postgraduate degree in Natural and Traditional Medicine, where he specialized in the treatment of hemiplegia and Alzheimer’s patients.
He is currently in the course path: Functional Neurology
and Rehabilitation with eligibility to apply to the
IAFNR CERTIFICATION.

His holistic approach and commitment to
Integral health has allowed him to explore various ways to provide relief and
Improvement to those who need him the most, where he applies with passion and
Dexterity his abilities to contribute to brain development and
cognitive balance in his patients.
